Swiss School Bangkok
fundamentally admits all children, who want to study German and are able to
follow the curriculum. The director decides on admission and classification.
Should a child be
rejected by the director, parents can apply for reconsideration to the school
committee. The decision made by the committee is final.
In cases of
classifications of new children in classes, which are not correspondent to
their age, the director consultants the parents, the teacher in question as
well as the head of the section. | New
students are asked to present their old school’s report cards of the last three
years (if available). A probationary
period of ten weeks follows the entry. After that the teacher’s board decides
what grade is the most suitable for the child.
