The Swiss Educational Association Bangkok was founded 1962 in Bangkok to support a Swiss school in Bangkok.

Since 1984 the Swiss School Bangkok has been situated on the campus of Ruamrudee International School (RIS).

We are a Swiss school abroad following the federal law of Switzerland concerning the education of young Swiss citizens living abroad. The school is maintained privately by the school society.  All parents of students must become members in the school society by statute. The membership fee is 10,000 Baht per family annually.

Currently, about 150 parents are registered as members. The headquarters of the Swiss Educational Association Bangkok is in the Swiss Embassy in Bangkok.

The Swiss Educational Association (SEA) Bangkok elects a board of directors of seven members, which deals with the association’s duties. Apart from these elected members the school head master, the deputy head master, the head of the primary school department, the head of administration as well as one representative each from the Swiss, German and Austrian embassy.
