The Swiss School Bangkok is a private school. As a matter of principle, it is open to all German-speaking students regardless of religious or national affiliation. It is not compulsory for children to attend a preschool before entering the Swiss Section Kindergarten, but it is recommended, especially if the child does not come from a German-speaking family. The school year has two semesters. Generally speaking, it is possible to enter at the beginning of the school semesters in August and again in January. The Director decides about admissions. A legal right to be accepted at the school does not exist. A child is considered enrolled when all registration forms have been turned in and the registration fees have been paid in full.
