Final School Assembly in the Academic Year 2011/12 PDF Print E-mail

On the 2nd of May 2012, the Swiss School Bangkok celebrated their final school assembly of this academic year.

 

The students, teachers, administration staff, parents and guests were greeted with welcoming words from the School Director, Mr. Michael Gwerder, who was pleased to announce that with eleven new students the Swiss School Bangkok currently consists of 235 students. He also mentioned that the 1st of May was an important public holiday because in many countries people celebrated “Labour Day”. Therefore, he told the students the ‘Anecdote Concerning the Lowering of Productivity’ about, a short story by the German author Heinrich Böll.

 

Then, the students of Grade 7 started the programme with a Karaoke - competition, followed by the students of the Basis Level who prepared several songs for the audience.

 

All contestants and spectators enjoyed watching the show and everybody supported the students during their musical performance.
