We are glad to present to you an intranet with extensive options. We take school home to you, just there, where you often miss it.

The intranet developed gradually over time will also be adjusted in the future to the needs of a modern school. Since summer vacation, this information and communication board offers even more than before by bringing school home through the internet.

Here is an overview of the most important modules:

Every user is a registered user

As intranet user our parents can also now post entries in the intended modules under their own name without using their child’s account and name. Parents can, now, as any other registered user, upload their photos to the intranet server (user profile) to give a personal touch to their postings.

Registration

Through our website all parents can register for a personal user account for the intranet. Please register under your personal name! Please do not use your child’s name as your user name. It is important for the applicant to own a verified e-mail address. It is not possible to set up more than one user account per e-mail address! Applications for registration are automatically forwarded to administration. Passwords are system generated for security reasons. Teacher and students must not register through the website. Such applications will be rejected. Since recently, teacher and student accounts are generated internally. Students who do not yet have an intranet account, please report to the administration.

If you are already registered for the intranet and have problems logging in, please report to the school administration. Passwords will be sent only to an e-mail address registered at school.

Changing Passwords

You can change your password under “Profile” by yourself. For security reasons regular changes of passwords are carried out. You will then be asked to change your password within a week by yourself.

The administration does not know your password. But in case you forget your password, the administration can send you a new system generated password.

Discussion Forum

This module is open to all intranet users for virtual discussion. Everyone can take part or start a discussion on three levels.

Communication Book

As said, the system is now ready for parents to receive entries under their own name.

Coordination Plan

This is a collective module which gathers all important and current entries of the intranet and presents them as a monthly calendar.

Class Book

This eagerly used module offers a lot.

Here one finds homework sorted according to classes, can follow the lessons’ topics and print homework lists sorted according to class and subject. Additionally,the examination plan  presents all announced tests and exams of the next two months in an overview.

Reservation/ Cover lessons

Besides the currents time tables of all classes, one finds the room assignment plans. All overviews are given in real time. The yellow color marks the present day/lesson.

Staff/Students

Names, telephone numbers, e-mail addresses, and class lists, etc. can be looked up here –now with an integrated personal search engine. With the according link lists you can draw up and print personalized overviews of any groups.

Registration

Here you can register online for extracurricular activities, elective courses and parent-teacher interviews.

Data Base

You can download dates from this platform which are organized in categories. Here one finds the most important documents and regulations of Swiss School Bangkok, as well as the minutes of different committee meetings.
